I hate time. I wish it would stop. I wish time would pause, take a break, and forget to restart. I wish the hands on the clock would inexplicably stop ticking their way through moments that will never come back. I wish the squares on every calendar were empty with events that would never occur. I wish the air would still and the world would be deafened by the harshness of complete silence. I wish the details in my memory weren't diminished by days of mindless routines and mundane expectations. Yet... if time was gracious enough to stop... would there truly be a point in ever existing?

When time stops, all change ceases.
When all change ceases, there can be no perception.
When there is no perception, there are no forms.
When there are no forms, nothing exists.
When nothing exists, all that remains is pure awareness.
Awareness without an object.
The Absolute.
The infinite and eternal.
The essence of what we all already are.

There is a crazy old Jay Adamโs quote in the Dogtown documentary that he never repeated the same trick twice, maybe not even once because he already forgot it and moved on to the next trick. What is time really? Arenโt we really only this moment?

Interesting!!! If I think about time too much my mind will just spiral. Sometimes I think time is a moment, but sometimes I can imagine time as being multiple periods coexisting somehow.
