Distorted

My mirror must 
be defective. 

It's flimsy glass must be 
full of errors 
and deformations...  
Innocently creating ripples 
and alterations. 

That must be 
the reason why 
the girl that 
everyone sees... 

Is nowhere close 
to the same girl 
that my mirror 
shows to me.

Wow. I reread this one because it’s so true, how often do we look into the mirror and only see imperfections? But in fact, we’re actually beautiful because of our flaws. Love it Hal ❤

Life’s wisdom number 1) Cameras are like crows— they are all liars!!! Never trust a camera.

A human eye/brain combination can adjust for different lighting conditions and generally see a person’s face as the same each time, plus see it in 3D. A camera is just fucked!

Life’s wisdom number 2) Limit opportunities to see your own reflection 😜.

Life’s wisdom number 3) We are all simultaneously butt-ugly and beautiful 😉.
